Finding Frankie places players in a surreal obstacle course framed as a high-stakes game show. After accepting a mysterious invitation hidden in a cereal box, the player enters a bizarre competition alongside two others. While the event appears cartoon-like on the surface, it quickly shifts into something more dangerous. Players must complete a series of complex parkour challenges, including wall-running, rail-sliding, trampoline jumps, and timed climbs—all while avoiding lethal traps and unpredictable threats that attempt to eliminate them mid-course.

Characters, Deception, and Survival

Characters like Frankie and Henry Hotline, once presented as playful mascots, reveal darker, unpredictable behavior. Instead of guiding the player, they stalk and sabotage progress, forcing constant awareness of surroundings. The show’s friendly design conceals shifting hazards—vent systems, collapsing platforms, and dim corridors filled with sound cues and visual distortions. Occasionally, players find brief moments of peace with the Helper Duck, a small AI companion that offers light, scans the environment, and occasionally provides helpful distractions to lure away threats.

Exploration and Dynamic Layouts

Each part of Frankie’s Palace introduces new sections to explore, from trampoline parks to underground passageways. Some stages require brute movement skill, while others test timing and navigation under pressure. As players advance, levels become less predictable, requiring creative use of all movement options to survive. The game avoids a fixed route system, encouraging players to find alternate paths or exploit parts of the environment. Finding Frankie is less about winning the show and more about surviving it—by adapting, staying quiet, and never trusting the smiling faces on the screens.
